So now you know, if you need an application that is only on Windows, you may be able to save yourself the task of looking for a computer with the Microsoft system or installing BootCamp thanks to WineBottler. This software has a really simple way of working, only indicating the application that we want to install and where it can be found, WineBottler will start up, it will help us to install it and launch it without problems. Enjoy playing MP NOTE: WineBottler does not support 64 bit (I've found), so when MP switches to 64 bit it won't work anymore. With WineBottler we'll be able to open programs like games, or professional software. Go into steam, then games, then add a non-steam game to my library and click on 'Play Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer', just so you can find it quicker. This software is nothing more than an interface for the renowned Wine, thanks to which it's possible to launch more than 13,000 compatible Windows applications on a macOS. The truth is that the majority of times there is equivalent software, but they are never the same as the original. The one from WineBottler just crashes and the one from the official installer just wont let me open Steam. Could also be the Steam client itself some people have been having issues even on real Windows. Even though Mac users are growing quicker each day, there are still many programs that are impossible to find outside of Windows. The issue is that I have it on Steam, and when I install Steam from either running the installer with wine, or the one on WineBottler, neither of them launch after installing them. It often uses an old Wine engine, keeps you from accessing (or at least makes it hell) some advanced settings and functionality, and it doesnt have good documentation, tutorials, or community support.
